BTW, this is a similar UI as the Bebot synth which is also very cool.
I was looking (and still am) for a way to control all these iPhone synths via a MIDI controller. Anyone know a way?

interesting. I cant see how practical it would be playing an instrument on a touch screen though i havent tried it yet. Its hard enough playing on a regular instrument LOL. It would be a good idea to play through a midi controller. I dont know how you could do it.

Yeah, the new frontier in iPhone synths is all in the interface. I have a couple that are standard keyboard style and while they are playable, they are limited with only an octave on the screen at a time. If you have an iPhone, shell out the 5 bucks for Bebot. It's cool and very playable. Another I really like is Bloom. Both have unique interfaces that make them fun to play.
Really great application, Thanks for post. nice video, i enjoyed it. Thanks!

A brief background on Prepared Piano; usually, this term refers to taking a piano (typically a grand or baby grand for ease of access to the strings) and placing various types of"modifiers"directly on or in between the strings themselves. If you have access to horizontally strung piano give it a try, it can produce tones that sound like ethereal bells( Arvo Part's Tabula Rasa is a wonderful example of this ) to weird and w...
